Our partnership with Primark is rooted in a shared commitment to creating positive opportunities for young people and strengthening the communities in which they live. By combining UK Youth’s national reach and expertise in youth work with Primark’s strong community presence and social impact ambitions through its Primark Cares strategy, this collaboration is helping to drive meaningful, local change.
Through an open and values-led approach, the partnership focuses on investing directly in grassroots youth organisations located in communities close to Primark stores and colleagues. The Community Impact Fund demonstrates how strategic funding and place-based investment can empower local youth services to better support young people to thrive.

The Community Impact Fund, delivered by UK Youth in partnership with Primark, provides small grants to youth organisations across Great Britain, strengthening local provision for young people in communities near Primark stores. The fund supports frontline organisations to respond to local need, sustain vital youth services, and extend their reach to more young people.
In its first year, the programme has funded 11 youth organisations, enabling them to deliver inclusive, life-changing youth work across a range of themes including wellbeing, employability, social action, and skills development.
By backing trusted local providers and investing in long-term community capacity, the fund plays a vital role in ensuring more young people are equipped to thrive and empowered to contribute to their communities.
Thanks to our partnership with Primark, UK Youth has been able to fund grassroots youth organisations across the UK, helping them provide safe, inclusive spaces where young people can build confidence, skills and a sense of belonging.
The map shows the organisations that received support, from mentoring and creative programmes to community-led initiatives, all strengthening local services and reaching more young people.
Together with Primark, we’re proud to support organisations making a real difference in young people’s lives.

“The UK Youth Fund [Community Impact] will make a significant contribution towards us continuing our full offer to girls and young women across the four boroughs we provide support in.
We have noted an increase in referrals and the complexities of issues presented by the young women we support (e.g. increase in harmful behaviours, such as, eating disorders and self-harm).
We have tried to respond to this rise in demand by starting drop-in sessions in Merton and increasing the number of places during holiday programmes.
We have however regularly needed to place girls on a waiting list for mentoring…With a grant from the UK Youth Fund [Community Impact], we are confident that we will be able to start to expand our offer so we can support more girls and young women across the four boroughs we currently work in.
