Outdoor learning has been shown to enhance confidence, self-esteem, social skills, academic learning, mental well-being, and environmental awareness among young people. Access to these life-changing experiences is often limited, particularly for those from low-income families, minoritised ethnic backgrounds, refugees, asylum seekers, and those with additional support needs. At UK Youth, we believe outdoor learning should be accessible for all.
