Joined Up Co-Designers will be part of a group of 8 young people aged 16-25 who, with their ideas and feedback, will help UK Youth steer the conversation on the wider design of Joined Up.
We are looking for enthusiastic young people who have engaged with professionals in the health, education, and justice system and are willing to share their lived experiences and ideas with others. Your commitment and passion towards shaping a better future for young people will be rolled out on a local and national level across all sectors.
If you have any questions about this application form, please contact our HR Team at people@ukyouth.org
We are a charity that exists to make sure all young people have what they need to do well in their lives, take part in opportunities, and be active members of society. We do this by working with lots of different people (including young people) and organisations to make sure good youth work is available to all young people.
There’s a lot going on in the world that is affecting young people’s mental health, physical safety, and access to employment, among other things. The ways young people are engaged and supported don’t work as well as they could.
We believe that young people get the best support when everyone works together to help tackle challenges.
The Joined Up Institute is going to create opportunities and events that bring young people and professionals together from across different sectors (like education, health, youth work, social care etc.) to find new, better ways of working with and supporting young people.
We need to design events, activities and ideas that will help professionals think differently about how they work with young people. It’s important that this work is deeply informed by young people’s lived experience.
