Power of Youth Day is an annual celebration of the contributions made to society through volunteering and social action, and each year we use it spotlight achievements and drive forward our aim to increase and deepen participation. You can watch all the interviews here!
Reflections from Kenya on meeting with Welsh Minister for Social Justice, Jane Hutt

What is the Hope Collective?
The Hope Collective is a powerful partnership of leading cross-sector organisations with aligned values and a shared vision; to work together in a spirit of unity to create real change for young people and communities across the UK. Formed originally to support the 20th anniversary legacy campaign for Damilola Taylor, the Hope Collective is driven by a shared purpose – to establish real change that enables UK’s most vulnerable communities to be free from poverty, violence and discrimination.
On the 14th July, the Hope Collective UK tour arrives in the Midlands. Held at the state-of-the-art Belgrade Theatre in Coventry, 2022 UK City of Culture, this event will provide a unique opportunity for the young people of Midlands to tell leading policy makers what they want to see and what they think needs to change.
UK Youth’s submission to the Government’s 10-year mental health and wellbeing consultation plan
The government are committed to improving mental health and wellbeing as part of their ‘Levelling up’ agenda. They are launching a discussion paper and call for evidence to ask the public a range of questions to help develop the new plan. We have been working with external consultant Ayaz Manji on our submission using evidence and insights from the Thriving Minds Fund, EmpowHER and #iWill. We have heard from our network in various engagement events and look forward to incorporating their views into our submission.
