In early June, UK Youth is excited to convene business leaders from across sectors to discuss how together, we can improve the outcomes for young people across the UK. The main goals of this network are to:
- Increase expertise and deepen understanding of the benefits of youth work amongst business leaders.
- Support businesses to better engage with young people to improve employment practices and address key societal challenges faced by young people.
- Leverage the influence and expertise of business to support UK Youth’s strategic goal of increasing sustained investment into youth work.
- Facilitate effective cross-sector collaboration between the youth sector, business, government and young people to solve key issues and advocate for youth work.
The network will be a forum for peer learning on relevant topics such as: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), employability practices, and youth engagement. Participants will also benefit from a learning programme where they will be given access to our insights as a specialist national charity and exposure to the opinions and voices of young people through #iwill Ambassadors and other young people in our network.
This network will be a critical group of leaders to support us in achieving our goal to unlock youth work for all young people.
We’re looking for individuals and businesses that are passionate about this agenda and want to be part of the conversation. If this sounds like something may be interested in, please get in touch at partnerships@ukyouth.org
