We are deeply saddened to hear the news about the passing of Her Majesty The Queen. Throughout her lifetime, Her Majesty provided tireless support to the charity sector, their members of staff, trustees and volunteers and her work and dedication made a real and lasting difference to civil society across the UK.
UK Youth and our Board of Trustees recognises the extraordinary contributions the late Queen has made, and we are incredibly grateful for Her Majesty’s championing of young people during her inspirational lifetime, including the opening of our outdoor centre Avon Tyrrell in 1949. Our sincerest thoughts are with our Patron, HRH The Princess Royal, and the rest of The Queen’s family at this difficult time.
