UK Youth is a charity that exists to ensure all young people can build a bright future, regardless of their background or circumstances. We believe every young person should have a safe space to go in their local community, a trusted adult to support them and positive activities to engage in. When young people have all these, they thrive.

I joined UK Youth because I care passionately about supporting young people. I knew the organisation and had been impressed by everyone I had met who all demonstrated passion, dedication and belief in young people. This inspired me and made me want to join the UK Youth movement and 18 months later I’m really glad I did.

One of the great things about UK Youth are the people you get to work with- my fantastic and passionate colleagues across every team; the volunteers who bring our events portfolio to life; the brilliant supporters who give so generously and of course the amazing young people we meet who have achieved great things, overcome barriers and continue to inspire the team every day, reminding us why what we do is so important.

With our team’s success over the past year, including unlocking new partnerships with brands such as Oliver Bonas, the Partnerships and Fundraising team need to grow to ensure we continue to diversify and grow our income streams, to make sure we can continue to support young people now and in the future.

We are therefore recruiting for three key roles including two new positions. These are; Head of Corporate Partnerships & Individual Giving, Corporate Partnerships Manager and Bid Writer.

Our team of 10 people make up the Partnerships & Fundraising function of UK Youth and are responsible for securing funding for across the organisation. This includes national skills development programmes, youth voice and outdoor learning as well as funding for core services such as network support, Impact & Learning, Policy & Comms, Finance, HR and of course the fundraising team.

The team have had lots of success in recent years but we believe this is only the tip of the iceberg and we’re looking for new team members to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

We’re looking for team players with expertise in their area; individuals with passion, ideas and creativity. In return you’ll join an impressive team, be given autonomy and support to achieve your potential and be supported through professional development and training.

You’ll also be joining at the right time as in June we will be moving to a new fully accessible office in central London.  With multiple public transport links, the office will offer a bright, modern and engaging working environment and access to local green spaces, cafes, bars and shops. The office space will have lots of natural light throughout, a staffed reception, showers and cycle storage with breakout and communal spaces.

If you believe every young person should be able to build a bright future, you have the fundraising skills we’re looking for, want to work with brilliant people at a dynamic and exciting charity- then apply now!
