Building on the success of last year’s Youth of the Year, national charity UK Youth has launched a bigger and better awards ceremony to celebrate young people’s astonishing achievements and the grassroots youth organisations that support them through their social development journey. The UK Youth Awards will be split into two categories to crown UK Youth’s:
Anna Smee, CEO of UK Youth said: “Every day I have the honour of hearing incredible stories of young people overcoming adversity to positively transform their life and the lives of others. It’s about time these young people and the grassroots youth organisations who support them every step of the way take centre stage. The UK Youth Awards aim to put the spotlight on these inspirational stories to showcase just what the youth sector is achieving by empowering young people with vital life skills to positively transition into adulthood.”
