UK Youth are seeking a credible and engaged senior leader to lead our motivated and collaborative board. This individual will work with a recently appointed CEO to lead the organisation through a period of increased impact and growth.
A dynamic, growing and successful charity, UK Youth sits at the heart of a UK wide movement of 5,500 national, regional and local youth organisations, who collectively reach 1.6 million young people. Together we deliver innovative Youth services, grow effective practice and campaign to increase support for youth work. Our services are open to all 9-25 year olds and 86% of the young people directly engaging with our work, face personal barriers or live in some of the most underserved areas of the UK.

You will bring experience of serving on or convening high performing boards; experience of strategic leadership at senior level and some understanding of either the charity youth sector or the policy issues that affect it. You will be energised to bring fresh thinking and new networks to the work of the organisation. Critically you will be motivated by the vision and mission of UK Youth and be committed to living our values.
