Along with UK Youth Voice, we will be exploring key values to consider when listening to young people’s voices and looking at the challenges and opportunities arising from embedding youth engagement in your organisation. A very interactive workshop with practical exercises and tips to implement in your own organisations. 

Effective safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and whether you are new to working with young people or have a considerable amount of knowledge and experience, this unique and innovative safeguarding masterclass is designed for you.

It will give practitioners the motivation, skills, and confidence to deal with all safeguarding challenges including some of the current issues affecting young people such as county lines, gangs, serious violence, child sexual exploitation, and radicalisation.

Youth work essentials

This Masterclass is designed for those new to working with young people who may have little or no experience or training and for those who are more experienced but want a refresher on using a youth work approach 

Understand key principles of how to engage, motivate and educate young people to make informed life choices. Explore key values and attitudes in effective and meaningful work with young people and expand your toolkit of activities to enhance your work and increase impact. 

UK Youth will bring Innovators together throughout the year to collectively grow the movement and lead the youth sector.

Leaders retreat

Exclusive to UK Youth Innovators. Join us for UK Youth’s inaugural Leaders retreat – a two-day event to collaborate with and learn from sector leaders and experts from across the UK to tackle the most pressing issues for young people. The Retreat will also give you the time and space to reflect on your own practise, take part in lively discussions, have the opportunity to network and create new partnerships. 

Accommodation, food and drinks for one person is included in the annual fee of £500. Additional spaces are £250pp
