Youth Voice Board 2017
Youth Voice is our national steering group that sits right at the heart of what we do at UK Youth, playing a major role in governing the charity, helping to shape our training and national programmes to ensure we maximise effectiveness.
Our national board is made up of young people that represent all regions and nations within the UK:
Northern Ireland: Megan
Channel Islands: Erin
Yorkshire and Humber: Zack and Shayne
North West: Brittain and Josh
North East: Brendan and Hannah
West Midlands: Joe and Nikhwat
East Midlands: Bobbie and Kamron
South East: Emma and Tamanna
South West: Maya
London: Aanya and Erol
Over the next year we will be expanding our Youth Voice offer and looking to get many more young people involved.

Hydie joined UK Youth Voice two years ago, she was living at home in Watford after choosing not to go to University. She was working part time in bars and felt like she had no direction. After she became involved with UK Youth she began to co-design programmes, help make decisions and provide a voice for young people. She went on to become Chair of UK Youth Voice and then Head of Communications and Research for a team that supports entrepreneurs all around the world.
“UK Youth Voice helped give me the confidence to kick-start the life I wanted, and to help others do the same.”
