Launch of the Junior Achievement Award Conference
UK Youth will be holding two one day conferences to launch the Junior Achievement Award. These launch events are aimed at workers and managers from a range of settings who are involved in supporting children to develop personal and social skills, such as: primary schools, junior youth groups, play work settings, breakfast and homework clubs, residential centres, social services, sports clubs, performing arts groups, faith groups, holiday schemes etc. The delegate fee costs £80 + VAT (total £94.00) per person which includes afternoon tea, an introduction to the JAA, a summary of the findings of the pilot, presentations from workers who were involved in the JAA pilot, information on how to access the JAA and delegates will take home a pack including a sample of the JAA materials
The launch events will be held on
- Wednesday 10th September 2008- Launch of the Junior Achievement Awards Conference, Royal Horticultural Halls, London
- Thursday 18th September 2008- Launch of the Junior Achievement Awards Conference, Partnership for Learning, Liverpool
Arrival and Registration is at 1.00pm. The conference ends at 4.30pm.
