Training the Trainer in Alcohol Awareness

This training day has been designed to provide trainers with all the materials they will need to deliver a two-day training course for those who work with young people, on the theme of alcohol education.

The programme is suitable for training paid staff, adult volunteers and young people who may be acting as leaders or peer educators. It is expected that attendees have facilitation and training skills.

The training aims to equip those who work with young people with the skills, information and ideas necessary for running sessions and activities aimed at exploring issues about alcohol with young people.

Delegates will receive a Training The Trainer in Alcohol Awareness Manual, as well as have the opportunity to explore numerous activities such as quizzes, discussion starters and games. They will also receive details about further useful resources such as websites and activity packs (such as the Drinkaware Toolkit) which they can use in their training delivery and work with young people.

Cost: £130 per person + VAT
