Young Mothers Learning programme was created in collaboration with young mothers and in partnership with the Workers Educational Association over a three year period between 2000 and 2003. It was designed to meet the need for community based education specifically for groups of young mothers. A NIACE grant enabled us to build on our early work and to create the current 3 OCN Units at levels entry, 1 and 2. UK Youth is constantly working to develop new materials and to ensure the programme meets the current needs and interests of Young women who either have children or are at risk of becoming pregnant young.
