UK Youth work with the Government for safer roads
John Bateman OBE, Chief Executive of UK Youth, addresses Road Safety Conference: Beyond 2010 at QEII Conference Centre
On 22nd April 2009 John Bateman OBE, Chief Executive of UK Youth, spoke at Road Safety Beyond 2010, a major conference held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London where he shared a platform with Jim Fitzpatrick MP the Parlimantary Under Secretary of State in the Department for Transport .
The event coincided with the launch of the Department for Transport’s safer roads consultation and the announcement of new initiatives to support road safety in schools.UK Youth will work with the government regard to the potential role for First Gear in this respect.
