UK Youth passes the assessment criteria for Sound Systems

UK Youth Chief Executive, John Bateman, has received the Sound Systems accreditation from the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services’ (NCVYS). Sound Systems is the voluntary and community sector quality mark for the safety and well being of children and young people.

The accreditation scheme covers organisations’ safeguarding policy and practice. It encourages agencies to critically examine policies, procedures and practice in all aspects of safeguarding, including safer recruitment and development of staff, child protection procedure, and anti-discriminatory practice.
