Conference invitation –putting learning into practice on the theme of non-formal learning and accreditation
UK Youth’s Centenary Conference will bring together the worlds of formal and non-formal education, with the aim of exploring an inclusive curriculum to equip young people with the life and work skills needed for the 21st century. The conference will take place on 10-11 May, at The Venue in Centre Parcs’ Elveden Forest, near Brandon, Suffolk.
The event is set up to stimulate discussion around the themes of non-formal learning and accreditation, and will include a Centenary Dinner to celebrate the fact that 2010 is the 100th year in the life of UK Youth. There will also be several keynote presentations, and workshops including The Bike Club Project and Supporting Contemporary Adolescence.
