Participation of Young People
UK Youth supports over 750,000 young people across the UK and encourages active citizenship and participation of young people.
UK Youth Voice (UKYV) -- an entirely youth-led and peer-elected group with members aged 16-25 years old -- works within the UK Youth network to involve young people via regional meetings, training opportunities, and an annual conference.
UKYV members also participate in events such as media training at BBC Westmister; visiting No.10 Downing Street to raise awareness of issues affecting young people, acting as media representatives for UK Youth, providing consultation responses on youth policy issues and speaking at the House of Commons and House of Lords.
