PR and Campaign Executive
UK Youth is looking for a professional, energetic and creative PR & Campaign Executive to promote the great work UK Youth does and tell positive stories about young people.
UK Youth is a leading national charity that empowers young people to take control of their lives and reach their potential. Entering a new phase of development and growth, this is an exciting time to join UK Youth. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a PR and Campaigns strategy to promote and raise the profile of our work, projects and partnerships through PR and social media.
Our projects tackle widespread issues facing young people and range from music and sport engagement, coding, social action, road safety, financial education and employability. Our partners and funders include Global Radio, Microsoft, UPS, Starbucks, The Big Lottery Fund, Sport England and Cabinet Office.
You will have experience of developing successful communications strategies, planning and delivering a range of communications work, managing thought leadership campaigns, proactively securing media coverage and managing events. You must be a self-starter who is comfortable operating in a fluid, fast changing environment along with being highly organised and capable of prioritising effectively. Enthusiasm, engagement and motivating yourself and others are critical competencies for this role. This is a small team and you must be comfortable in both strategic discussion and actual delivery.
This role offers the chance to make a real difference to the lives of thousands of young people through supporting the fundraising and delivery efforts of our team and the community based youth groups we support. Your knowledge of PR and campaigns and ability to apply it in practice are paramount!
Salary: £28,000 - 30,000 pa
