Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager

UK Youth has an amazing opportunity for a Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager to join the team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with a portfolio of donors. You will cultivate new support and secure high value gifts from prospective donors as well as building on our existing support.

There’s never been a more exciting time to join UK Youth, after a period of expansion and rejuvenation this is the perfect role for a pro-active and motivated fundraiser to join our dynamic income generation team.

We have numerous exciting long-term relationships with large corporate supporters such as Lloyds Banking Group and Microsoft, and major charitable trusts and foundations such as the Big Lottery Fund and Esmeé Fairbairn. You will report into the Head of Partnerships and Development and will line manage the Partnerships Executive, working closely with an energetic team in a fast-paced environment to increase UK Youth’s portfolio of funders and generate new multi-year sources of income.

You will prioritise opportunities; cultivate funders; manage relationships; complete Trust, Foundation and Corporate applications; ensure a consistent, high quality and coordinated approach; and contribute to the production of inspiring funder reports.  You will also support with the development of UK Youth’s Major Donor strategy and recruit individual donors to join our new giving initiative – the UK Youth 100 Club.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual, with relevant experience and a track record of fundraising success. The successful candidate will relish the opportunity to develop long-term relationships and create compelling funding proposals, so that UK Youth can continue to help thousands of young people across the UK, and the organisations who work with them, to build bright futures.

Salary:  circa £35,000 pa

Location:  London
