The Hearing Unheard Voices (HUV) programme enables young people whose voices are rarely heard to have their say about the local and national services that affect them. This teaches them a wide range of skills and builds their confidence.
The project brings together young people from diverse backgrounds including young travellers, young parents, LGBTQ, young carers, those affected by domestic violence, young people in care, refugees and asylum seekers, young disabled people, those from BME backgrounds and young people marginalised from mainstream school. The programme will come to a conclusion this year with an awards ceremony at St James's Palace, London on 29 November 2011.
