Interim Programme Manager

UK Youth is a leading national charity that empowers young people to take control of their lives and reach their potential.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Interim Programme Manager to join our National Programmes Team. You will manage a portfolio of our inspiring programmes that give young people the skills they need to grow into confident and capable adults who lead fulfilling lives.
Our projects tackle widespread issues and range from music and sport engagement, coding, social action, road safety, financial education and employability. Our partners and funders include Global Radio, Microsoft, UPS, Starbucks, The Big Lottery Fund, Sport England and Cabinet Office.
You will have experience of leading large-scale national projects from implementation and delivery to monitoring and evaluation. You will have led and motivated teams, have excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You will have the ability to analyse data and develop reports, work under pressure and have a flexible and adaptable style. You will be target driven, proactive and creative. Above all, you will have an interest in changing young people’s lives for the better.

Salary: £35k - £40kpa (pro rata) - commensurate with experience
Contract: 7 months fixed term, to start 5th September 2016
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hpw
Location: London based
