Programmes Coordinator (FTC)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Programmes Coordinator to join UK Youth, a leading national charity that empowers young people to take control of their lives and reach their potential.

We are looking for a positive, proactive and highly efficient Programmes Coordinator with experience of coordinating effective projects and a particular passion for digital skills projects.  You will be a key member of the National Programmes Team working across a portfolio of our inspiring projects that give young people the skills they need to grow into confident and capable adults who lead fulfilling lives.

Our programmes tackle widespread issues and range from music and sport engagement, coding, social action, road safety, financial education and employability.  Our partners and funders include Global Radio, Microsoft, UPS, Starbucks, The Big Lottery Fund, Sport England and Cabinet Office.

You will to be responsible for coordinating and scheduling project related activity including promotion, training sessions and events, building and maintaining relationships with delivery partners, establishing and maintaining databases, producing documents, reports and presentations and administration.

You will be creative, proactive and have initiative and ideas. You will be organised, driven, reliable and have a positive approach to your work.  You will be able to work at a high level both within UK Youth and with our charity and corporate partners, have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to work irregular hours, and be prepared to travel away from home on occasion to meet operational needs.   Above all, you will have an interest in changing young people’s lives for the better.

If you have the experience, energy and enthusiasm to help us ensure that every young person is a positive force for change in their own life, and the lives of others, we look forward to receiving your application.
