Money for Life
UK Youth is delighted that it has been appointed by Lloyds Banking Group to deliver a financial education programme for young people vulnerable to financial exclusion in some of the most deprived areas across the UK.
The programme, a refreshed version of Money for Life, the Group’s award-winning personal money management programme, will see UK Youth develop a cutting edge financial education programme in partnership with The Mix, that will inspire, engage and empower young people to maximise their ability through financial literacy.
To kick-start the review of the programme UK Youth brought together a panel of young people to explore what Money for Life means to them and how the programme can be more relevant to their lives.
“Encouraging young people to enhance their money management skills through the Money for Life programme is core to our vision to help Britain prosper. Through working with UK Youth and YouthNet we are confident that we will be able to make even more of a difference to the financial literacy of young people and communities across the UK.” David Rowsell, Education & Financial Education Lead, Responsible Business, Lloyds Banking Group.
The revised Money for Life programme is scheduled to launch in September 2016. Further information will be available here.
