Membership Development Manager

This is an incredible opportunity for an ambitious relationship and development manager to help shape the future of our member relations and development activity. We will soon be launching a new offer to our membership, which promises to be an exciting development in sector training and programmes and are looking for a membership and training mastermind to take it to the next level.  UK Youth is one of the largest youth charities in the UK, with a reach of over 800,000 young people every year, via our member network, an illustrious 105 year history and a strong portfolio of national programmes in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

You will be instrumental in developing a member centric focus to our work at UK Youth, developing the current offer and delivering a range against targets for increasing the membership and retaining current, using the new programme offer as part of the sales and retention plan.

Your aim will be to ensure the development of the UK Youth Membership portfolio, managing external relationships, meetings and training programmes and delivering a solid customer journey and communications programme to increase membership targets. Whilst creatively seeking new opportunities and revenue associated with membership activity, from accreditations (the Youth Achievement Awards & kitemarks associated with the membership offer) to events and focus groups. You will be a stickler for detail and understand what it means to embed membership processes to improve ways of working.

To achieve this you will support and manage a Membership Executive, to develop and deliver the membership offer UK Youth. You will be happy to roll up your sleeves and tackle everything from the ground upwards in order to fulfil our ambitious plans for the coming years.

If you have the experience, energy and enthusiasm to help us ensure that every young person is a positive force for change in their own life, and the lives of others, we look forward to receiving your application.
