Marketing & Communications Coordinator

UK Youth is looking for an energetic, organised and creative Marketing & Communications Coordinator to promote the great work of UK Youth to raise brand awareness and ensure the importance and impact of our work is well known.

UK Youth is a leading national charity, committed to providing access to appropriate, high quality services in every community so that young people are empowered to build bright futures, regardless of their background or circumstances. After going through a recent rebrand, UK Youth is entering a new phase of development, making it an exciting time to join the growing organisation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead on coordinating planned marketing and social media activity to help raise brand awareness of UK Youth and issues affecting young people. Working in a small team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of marketing and communications tools including our social media channels, activities calendar, digital marketing, website copy, blog posts and basic content creation. You will be an excellent writer and communicator, who can work under pressure, and is a creative thinker.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in marketing and communications for a national organisation. The ideal candidate will have a proven knowledge of social and digital channels, strong design skills to be able to create engaging/shareable content, good copywriting and proofing skills and the ability to work to deadlines and under own initiative

This role offers the chance to make a real difference to the lives of thousands of young people through supporting the fundraising and delivery efforts of our team and the community based youth groups we support.


Salary:  £20,000 - £22,000

Location:  London
