One hundred and thiry guests enjoyed some great food and wine at an event that was also the curtain-raiser to Motor Expo, the biggest free to enter motor show in the country.
Peter Arney from classic car specialists H&H oversaw a great live auction that generated almost £15,000 and a silent auction, run by the Broad Gallery, yielded almost £10,000. The evening raised over £35,000 in total in support of UK Youth's vital work with young people across the UK.
As well as hearing from Nigel, the UK Youth President, guests also listened to Chairman Bill Crothers and Chief Executive Charlotte Hill. "It's been a brilliant night and great to see so many supporters of our work in the room together. We have raised a really significant sum of money that will help us continue with our work. Thanks so much to everyone involved."
Individual guests mingled with corporate supporters from Accenture, Fujitsu, HSBC, Serco and UPS. UK Youth would like to thank them all as well as the business paper City AM who offered promotional and financial support. We'd like to extend particular gratitude to Ranald and the team at Boisdale for making the evening so special.
