Big names and big Prizes as Art for Youth approaches

Thanks to big name backing UK Youth's flagship fundraiser, now in its 24th year, is on course to break all previous records.

Exhibition and raffle ticket sales at Art for Youth are better than ever before and it isn't hard to see why.

World renowned portrait artist June Mendoza has donated a commission (worth £4,000) to the Live Auction on Wednesday 19 October at 7.30 pm. There'll also be a chance to bid for work by Bee Bartlett, Cassandra Constant, James Naughton, Tom Coates, Paul Gunn, Ken Howard, David Howell and Toby Ward.

The lots in the Silent Auction are equally mouthwatering. Top international designer Mary Katrantzou has donated a stunning "runway dress", Burberry have kindly contributed a beautiful denim tote bag from their Spring/Summer Collection 2011 and Harry's of London are donating a pair of custom-made loafers.  Raffle Prizes include the jaw dropping "Barstow Necklace' by mc-jewelry, theatre tickets to the Royal Court, a day for 2 at the Grange Hotel Ajala Spa and a pair of tickets to see Wales at home during next seasons 6-Nations tournament.

The event will be supported by over 30 volunteers from The Home Office and Ernst and Young who will help set up and run proceedings.

Art for Youth is at the Royal College of Art on 19th and 20th October. Click here to find out more or book tickets.
