Head of People (Maternity Cover up to 12 months)
We are seeking an enthusiastic Head of People with experience of working in a HR generalist environment who will relish the opportunity to lead our busy HR function over the next year.
This is Maternity Cover up to 12 months and will be based at our London Office in Islington with occasional travel to Avon Tyrrell, our Outdoor Centre, in the New Forest National Park.

The successful candidate will support our dedicated staff and management team and must have the skills and knowledge required to take the lead advisory role to management and to ensure the delivery of a professional HR function meeting the agreed objectives and plans.
Reporting into the Director of Operations, you will work closely together with the support of the operations team in a fast-paced environment to promote a consistent but creative business-focused application of HR practice.

As this role involves working in a regulated environment any offer will be conditional to satisfactory background checks which include criminal record check and employment references.
Contract: Up to 12 months maternity cover
Location: Islington, London
Salary: up to £40,000 (commensurate with experience) pa plus benefits including 27 days annual leave + bank holidays
Hours: Full time 37.5 hpw (flexibility may be considered)
