Help thousands of young people in the UK
realise their potential
Matthew, 16, left school with no qualifications because he had to care for his disabled mother. He felt unfulfilled and lonely before UK Youth enabled him to engage with his peers again through a Youth Achievement Award initiative. He began volunteering in his community and is now working towards becoming a qualified youth and community worker. According to Matthew, “Youth Achievement Awards have helped me improve in life and I have made lots of new friends that I can count on.”
Corporate support has been instrumental to our success in helping young people like Matthew to become fulfilled and responsible citizens.
UK Youth works with corporate partners to support young people and make a difference to their lives. Corporate supporters work with us in a range of ways, from donating to the charity, sponsoring flagship programmes, giving pro bono support and guidance and engaging employees in UK Youth projects.
A number of companies regularly volunteer UK Youth's headquarters, at Avon Tyrrell, an activity centre in the heart of the New Forest. Teams work onsite, making the environment more suitable for the thousands of disadvantaged young people who use the centre each year. To reward companies that have given up their time in such a way, the Avon Tyrrell staff give the volunteers the chance to experience some of the personal and team building activities and take part in some of the activities the centre provides - that includes Archery, High Ropes, Climbing & Abseiling, Canoeing and Kayaking and the Zip Wire.
Alternatively employees can take part in the London Marathon or our exciting UK and global Challenges programme or any of our forthcoming events. We are also interested in pairing with sponsors in their own events; please get in touch to discuss opportunities.
To discuss the opportunities available please contact Maria Cleminson by emailing maria@ukyouth.org or by calling 01425 672347 x463.

Give As You Earn is the most tax-effective way for you to give regularly to UK Youth. It is a national scheme whereby employees choose how much they want to give through their payroll to UK Youth each month. The donation then comes off their gross pay, before tax. GAYE really is a very simple way to give to UK Youth.
An example of GAYE amount donated from your NET pay each month: £1.00
Actual cost to you: £1.00
How deduction will show on your payslip if you pay tax at the basic rate*: £1.28
How deduction will show on your payslip if you pay tax at the higher rate*: £1.67
*The amount on your payslip includes the taxman’s contribution to UK Youth, not what you actually donate.
