Welcome to Film for Youth - a film-making festival for young people. Set up in 2006 by world famous film director Guy Ritchie and youth work charity UK Youth, this film-making festival for young people (aged 12 -25) will be opening again later in 2008 for submissions.
Submit your short film (2 - 6 minutes long) and be in with a chance to attend workshops, a film-making master class; gain a Youth Achievement Award and see your film screened at a prestigious premiere evening in 2008.
We will also be featuring films on the UK Youth website during the year and arranging screenings at other festivals.
For help on how to make your short film visit the Tools section which has links to dozens of useful websites on film-making, finding funding, downloading editing programmes, posting your film online and many other resources.
The festival will be open to receive entries later in 2008. Once open,
register to receive a free DVD offering help and advice on film-making specially produced by Guy Ritchie for UK Youth.
