Welcome to Film for Youth
Film for Youth is a film-making festival for young people. Set up in 2006 by world famous film director Guy Ritchie and youth work charity UK Youth.

In 2004 UK Youth worked with Guy to pilot the programme in London. The best entrants were invited to meet and spend a day with Guy on the set of one of his films. Due to the high level of response and the quality of entries received, we have decided to now expand the programme and to run a national festival giving more young people the opportunity to take part, develop their skills and express themselves through film-making.
As the festival is themed on 'What it means to be young in Britain today' we are also seeking to bring attention to youth issues through a wide range of distribution channels.
We currently do not have any further Film For Youth festival's planned, however if you would like to see films from previous Film for Youth festivals, click here.
