Art for Youth Oxford will be held at Summer Fields School, Oxford, on 13th and 14th June 2008.
Oxford is a new venue for Art for Youth which has been raising money for UK Youth for 20 years at exhibitions in London, Yorkshire and the New Forest.Work by both established and new young artists will be on sales at prices ranging from £200 to £2,000.Artists donate 35% of their sales to the charity.
The aim of Art for Youth is to raise funds for UK Youth and to enable promising young artists to show their work, giving art enthusiasts the change to buy works from contemporary artists at the start of their artistic carers.New artists are chosen by a selection committee which seeks out fresh, innovative work in a variety of media including sculpture.
