Gap staff go above and beyond to support UK Youth
UK Youth are delighted that 16 Gap Stores in the UK and Ireland have chosen to support UK Youth as part of the organisation’s global volunteer month.
Gap staff are going above and beyond by taking part in a series of local triathlon-style challenges to raise vital funds to support UK Youth’s work. The Trafford Centre store are raising the stakes and competing in their own Iron Man challenge for UK Youth!
Staff have been encouraging customers to support their efforts by doing spinathons in the store window and their friends, family – even dogs – have joined them for legs of the challenge.
As well as fundraising and triathlon challenges, Gap staff have given their time to support UK Youth’s members. The Harrogate store have been helping to run their local youth club, the Manchester stores have been painting their local youth centre and the Liverpool store will be volunteering at a youth led concert this weekend.
Gap’s philosophy is “Be what’s possible” and this is why they have chosen to support UK Youth achieve our vision– for every young person to become a positive force for change in their own life, and the lives of others.
A huge thank you to Gap and everyone who has supported their triathlon challenge.
