Award in Personal Achievement

A simple route for youth workers to integrate an accreditation option into their work with young people of all ages.

The Award in Personal Achievement is accredited by the NCFE and enables young people to take part in a personal challenge, it is available to learners of all ages and has no entry requirements.  Making it a truly accessible option for the broadest range of young people.

Young people are encouraged to:

• Choose a challenge based on their interests
• Set the targets they hope to meet
• Take part in the challenge (at Entry 3) or complete a challenge within a team (Level 1)
• Review and reflect on their learning with their peers

Uniquely the Qualification sits on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF)  enabling young people who would often not have the confidence, knowledge and/or skills to access more formal learning opportunities to gain valuable qualifications and move towards further educational attainments.
