Accredited Learning
Given that young people spend just 15% of their time in school yet the learning that takes place in other areas of their lives often goes unrecognised and under-valued.
We know young people do amazing things through volunteering, working, helping out their family or just organising activities with friends. We believe that getting these achievements recognised is vital.
UK Youth works with a range of awarding organisations to help young people (aged 7 and up) to gain recognition. Our non-formal awards and qualifications are available throughout England and used by a wide range of organisations that work with young people. We offer a full service including training, materials, verification and on-going support.
We are also delighted to be able to provide a bursary for eligible young people to benefit from our services and products. For further information about our bursaries click here for the application form.

Youth Achievement Awards
The Youth Achievement Awards (YAA) encourage young people to take responsibility in selecting, planning and leading group activities.

Junior Achievement Awards
The Junior Achievement Award (JAA) is a national award scheme following the same pattern as the Youth Achievement Awards but specifically designed for children aged 7 to 11 (Key Stage 2).

UK Youth coordinates a national network that accredits young people's non-formal achievements.

This programme focuses on assisting young parents, young parents-to-be and workers and volunteers.
