Impact & Learning Executive

UK Youth is looking for an organised and talented Impact & Learning Executive to demonstrate and improve the impact of UK Youth.

UK Youth is a leading national charity, committed to providing access to appropriate, high quality services in every community so that young people are empowered to build bright futures, regardless of their background or circumstances. After a year of significant progress in capturing the impact of UK Youth, we’re looking to take the next step in using our data to articulate and improve it.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our National Programmes Team to gather evidence on the impact of UK Youth national programmes. You will support the full life cycle of activity including supporting funding bids, establishing outcomes and theories of change, collecting data, analysing data, writing learning reports, and encouraging the improvement of delivery.

Working with the other two members of the Impact & Learning team, you will contribute to on-going cultural change within UK Youth, and the continual improvement of how UK Youth collects and uses evidence to better articulate and improve the impact of UK Youth programmes.

You will be passionate about improving the quality of charities, able to analyse quantitative and qualitative data, and able to juggle multiple active programmes at one time. You will be able to work under time pressure, build relationships with all areas of the organisation, and able to be pragmatic in your application of research principles to real-life youth work.

This is a great opportunity for someone with research experience who is looking to gain more experience in the practical application of research to youth work. The ideal candidate will have a background and experience in research skills, good organisational and self-management ability, and the ability to work to deadlines and under own initiative.

This role offers the chance to make a real difference to the lives of thousands of young people through improving the quality of our delivery and fundraising efforts, enabling us to increase our impact on the community based youth groups we support.
